Wine of the Week

2017 Rethore Davy Sauvignon Blanc "Parcelles"

Lorie Valley, France

Christophe Réthoré farms 42 hectares of land in the rolling countryside of the Pays des Mauges in the western Loire Valley, a little-known region to the east of Nantes and the nearest to the Nantais to produce red wines as well as white.

This sauvignon, a typical Loire Valley wine with golden and silver highlights, is a bombshell on the palate. Notes of lychee, fresh exotic fruits and limes invade the mouth from the first sip. It is then the delicate side of the mineral and floral touch that conquers. Being wrapped with a lot of freshness and its important aromatic palette that this wine seduces.

Come in and try this easy, drinkable wine paired with Classic Mussels, Oysters or our Seared Tuna,

Wine Tasting Notes:

This wine is expressive, varietal, and mineral to discover. Beginning with notes of fresh exotic fruits in the first sip and then finished with a delicate mineral and floral touch.
